Our founder was raised in India by his mother—herself an orphan—after the tragic and early loss of his father. Her determination and hope opened an unlikely door: a job at a prestigious private school. That single opportunity gave him and his brother access to a world-class education that changed the course of their lives.
After earning a Master’s in Computer Science in the U.S., our founder built a successful career. But year after year, returning to India, he saw children trapped in the very conditions his family had narrowly escaped: poverty, exploitation, generational cycles of injustice.
In 2006, he made a bold decision: to walk away from corporate success and step into the mission of building something better for vulnerable children.
He began by managing a small orphanage—but quickly realized that meeting physical needs wasn’t enough. These children needed more than food, shelter, and rudimentary schooling. They needed family. They needed healing. They needed a new kind of care.
That’s when the Womb to Warrior vision was born.
Today, because of your support, girls who were once unseen and powerless are now growing up in a nurturing, adoptive family-style home and receiving a world-class education.
